Pawkies is a Scots word for mitts, or fingerless gloves. These simple, striped pawkies are ideal for taking the chill off your hands on a brisk Autumn day, leaving your fingers free for picking mushrooms or blaeberries. There are two size options (small and large) and instructions are included for a very neat tubular cast-on method, which gives a beautiful finished look at the wrist. You may work a conventional cast-on if you wish.
