Esk

These simple slippers feature a pattern called "lizard" in Norah Gaughan's Twisted Stitch Sourcebook. Esk or ask are common names in Scots and northern English dialects for newts and lizards.

This one-skein design is part of a small collection using motifs adapted from Norah Gaughan's brilliant Twisted Stitch Sourcebook.
